Nice one Benji. Think they're middle to end of the 80s. The supes from the beginning of the 80s have a different shell. Spitey has a pair from the early 80s. Somewhere in the postie thread of 2010 or 2011.

They're old enough to be both UK/US8 as there were no difference back in the day. They should be more like a UK fit though Samo.

Horst died in 87, Tapie bought adidas in 88/89 (it think) and shifted production to Asia so guessing it was during his reign (until 92) when the French production stopped.

Thanks vox. Been away for a while. Got a new job. Moved house. And so on. Haven't had much time for sneakers. Only lurking here from time to time.

Nice ez-1. Getting a pair myself today, hopefully. When postie is nice to me.

Like the grey vins fieldsy. Which was the last pair of vins they made? Dunno. The orange ones?

Seems adidas is concentrating on 80s more and more. Can't remember the last pair of SS II's I bought tbh.
