Just remember that LTE/4G might not work in UK. Not sure but at least it doesn't work in Finland.
Also you can use the internet connection of your mobile phone wirelessly so that feature might not be worth the money. But it all depends.
External hard drives wont work with iPad at least that is the case if you don't jail brake it first.

Not really, fella. That was the argument when they came out, but they're definitely more than a big iPhone.

My agency is doing a lot of app dev for our biggest client and it's pretty essential for me for work.

This lappy is on its way out so will need replacing anyways now atm i have all my adidas stuff for ebay and my own collection plus my computer/office type thang in my bedroom but now i'm in a position to finally convert the loft into my adidas room/office i pretty much want my bedroom to be just that with no work stuff or adidas stuff innit that includes desk/comp/lappy etc etc..
But at the same time i'd like just summat small that i can have nearby should i just wanna check summat/mess about on FB or look on here or whatever without having to go up into the office to do it...
I just thought an ipad would probably be the best thing size wise and whatever and easily cope with that kinda thing..

Lor, you're just a lucky fart...and Mike, you are too LOL....maybe I'm just jealous of your 3, as I type this shit on the OG pad...at least i didn't pay for it as it was a gift...I'm with Streak though...the whole iPad/tablet thing is all hogwash...merely a glorified phone IMO...other then some graphic apps usage and access to all things Internet, it's not a true CPU...guess so long as people remember that, all is well...i do too much shit with data apps and such i could never use this for work.....of course there's always net books (junk), and ultra books (glorified net books lol).....

If you have other apple products, get the iPad.
If your only using it for such things, get the 1 or 2.. Just try hustle some friends if they upgrade (or people here) and get it cheaper second hand.. No point spending top dollar to use eBay and Facebook.

I think they are great. I want one but I'll keep waiting. It's awesome having such a nice portable screen, especially for design work. You got your folio right there in your bag!! Now they just need a cintiq screen to fit
