It is possible the toe guard and heel counter are nubuck. If they are suede, that is super fine. The black are fucking badass, look better in your on-foot picture though Tors.

I got the orange ones this week and think they're awesome, the blue stripes and heel tag are 3M. They come with orange laces and a spare set of white ones. They fit about the same as Superstar 80s.
