@ dj_wildthing yes they're Neighborhood samples apparently they where going to open another store but that got shelved and so did the shoe. These are dated 12/08.

I'd say it was done on the 35th Consortium vins already in 2005 although they didn't use multiple colours to create the effect, but I think it was definitely meant to copy the look of aged shoes.
Same goes for the aged chalk sole of the 80s, and the sprinkled shells and soles of the 'grün' 'eco' supes.
– and you can argue the Bape supes from 2003 did it too using the chalk colour, I'm pretty sure it was done to get an aged look.

They released a grey and mustard(?) (cant remember) campus 80s colourways end of last year with the exact same sole. Gla I didn't pull the trigger.... They weren't great.

they are ZX helium's they only released a few cause as you can see in the pics they were so light that people had trouble keeping their feet on the ground
