Rob's BIG Supe-room move
#16

Who needs a sticker when you've got a jigsaw and mdf-wood (don't know if mdf is the right word in English)

Wait, that's not right. This is much better:

I did it all by hand with one of these:

The size is about 50 x 50 cm. I'm gonna paint it white so it will stand out on my blue wall.

It's really not that much work. I printed a blown
up trefoil on paper and cut all the pieces out with a pair of scissors. Then used a pencil to outline all the pieces on the wood. And then saw everything with the jigsaw. Most work is sanding everything.

MDF can be pretty thick. what size did you us?
kudos to you man for the effort. my forearm is sore just thinkin' of all of that cuttin'.

I only used a machine to cut the two stripes because there is no way I can make such a long straight line with a handsaw. The sanding was what gave me a sore arm.

But here is the trick, the mdf is only 4 mm thick Wink So it's pretty easy to saw. Hardest part was the inside of the letters. I had to drill a hole first to get my saw in there.

You guys should try it, it's actually a lot of fun. Made me feel like I was 10 years old Laughing
