Hey mates, so opinions on which to bump to: Samsung Galaxy S2 4G or Iphone 4S???
I'm normally a gadget guy as many of you are, but I never got on the bandwagon with phones - maybe b/c I hated the notion that as soon as I got it, it was already old...currently on a 'pay n talk' plan (which saves alot of money) with an old Motorola Razr (don't laugh). I think its time I moved on up to a smartphone - esp since I get burned by not being updated in due time i.e. missed opportunities, business and kicks wise...
Did alot of research already, but its still up in the air for me...truly I only like the Siri/voice activation bit on the Apple - otherwise I like the open Android OS - hate running everything through Itunes and being a part of the masses...not an Apple fanboy...

I got a galaxy s2 and its the bolloxs tbh..But i think there's a new one coming out soon so u might wanna wait.
Samsung is alot cheaper per month in the uk anyways and was voted the best phone apparently
I'd fuck off the iphone 4S or any iphone like you and also cos iphone5 is apparently already completed but was held back after steve jobs died so the 4s is just a gap filler to fill the apple coffers
+1 for the galaxy all day or the new 1 whenever thats due

Thx for the word mate! There's always a new version around the corner, isn't there LOL...I may have read somewhere re the Galaxy being the best phone, but that might have been prior to the 4S release, and def the 5 is out next yr and that may be a pisser if I got the 4S...decisions decisions....hell I may stick with my Razr another yr...

I'm an Apple guy so I'm biased and I'd never own anything but.
The new iMessage thing is kinda cool. Like BBM for iPhones. If you have unlimited texting in your plan it won't make much of a difference in your bill but if your traveling you can text over WiFi and such without having to worry about texting fees.

install the app "photobucket" or "image shack". create an account and then you can start uploading pics. it will give you an embeded forum link and then you paste them into here. easy as 1,2,3!
if u need anymore help feel free to pm me.
on a side note. go for the sgs2. just like the iphone, samsung will release a new one every year with marginally better hardware and software. if you want to wait then wait.
if you can get your hands on a galaxy note i would say go for that. but not available in canada. would have to buy it full price from a uk retailer

4s vote here. I'm going for the 32gb this week so it will hold better value next year when I move it on to cover most of the cost of the 5 .

Go instore have a play see what you prefer. I'd go iPhone but I've never used a samsung (always hated other samsung phones)

Reckon you can't go wrong with either, though I love my iPhone and would not want to part with it. S2 will be the standard for Android here in Canada for at least a while. By then if you like the OS you'll want to upgrade to a proper 'Google phone', which will be best to take advantage of all the Android bells & whistles.
I'd rather lose a finger than use a Motorola.

I've gone Blackberry to Iphone.....Mrs has got the S2 and so will I in March when the Iphone contract expires.......IMOH the Iphone isn't in the same bracket as the S2......Samsung all the way for me.....

I'm not an Apple guy but I love my iPhone. I've got the 3GS and my contract just ended. I'm not going for the 4S because, like others said, I'm expecting the 5 next year.
O yeah..... Samsung SUCKS!!! Only good thing coming from Samsung is their Syncmaster-screens.

iPhone for me too, the only bad thing about apple is they wont put Adobe Flash in their products...but still not enough to warrant not getting one.
