Anyone run in MicroPacers?
#1

getting curious about these shoes as i want to start more running etc and need a new pair of runners. I know how they work etc, but just wanted any feedback from anyone who uses them.

I want to know how they go as a running shoe? comfortable? durable?
The shape etc arent like most runners of todays market. If i was purely looking at it from a running perspective, would i be better getting something else? Or is the technology worth buying?

thanks Very Happy

I own a pair of Pacers but have not used them for running, and honestly would not even consider them for serious running. They're comfy for casual use but at the end of the day, its a 20-year-old shoe with 20-year-old tech, so I would stick with something more contemporary for running, your legs will probably thank you for it.

@ Nikosg - You know, I was thinking the same thing before I bought my new running shoes. If you do score a pair to run in, post the results back here. I'd be curious to hear the results.

Luck

If it ain't boots, it's soops!

I got a pair (them consortium hamper jobbies) but never ran in them!!Like the rest have said i don't think they'd be all that and probably not upto the job for serious running.

It's not the size of the feet!!it's the amount of quality on em

Yeah Nik dont run in them, but keep it 3 striped and dont go for Asics Wink

Dont know what specialist stores you have Aus, but get yourself down to one or the adidas performance store and get your foot checked for pronation as depending over whether you pronate or over pronate, there are certain types of shoe for each.

Then get mi coach Cool

If you have £5 and Chuck Norris has £5, Chuck Norris has more money than you.

there are heaps of places that measure with all the computers and shit how your feet react etc... not necessarily adidas stores...

basically ill find out what shoe they recommend, then piss off and buy it online for heaps cheaper lol

runners here are ridiculously priced... wait, just like all shoes and gear!
