Stretching shoes?
#1
hey all...

usually i dont buy shoes if they arent my size... but have found a pair of kicks that will be only half a size small... so bit on the snug side but still manageable!

has anyone tried those actual shoe stretchers (no not the shoe trees.. the stretchers that you tighten)

if so.. how were the results? did they free up a little space for a bit more comfort or still no go?

let me know Very Happy so then i wont buy if i hear bad results of course Very Happy

I've tried them, didnt get great results, but I think they're designed for proper shoes not sneakers.

Should be easier to stretch.
I'd feed the leather/suede then apply heat with a hair dryer then stretch them while hot and leave to cool.
Never done it but I reckon that'd be the best way forward.
Some moist and a bit of heat tends to loosen most things.........................

I've never stretched a pair of shoes but I have pulled the glued down inner-sole out to make more room on a couple of pairs of trainers (not supes, nylon/leather running shoe stylee) It worked for me
Supe like Wanton, Buju like Banton

Personally I'd wait for a pair in the right size Wink

Nothing beats stretching like actually wearing em Nik...but like Lars said, best solution is a proper fit...shoe trees only keep shape, and if you bring it to a shop to stretch, you risk 'over stretch' b/c they may use a machine...not to mention the shape may look funny as a result....

you can buy things similar to shoe trees, where you can manually add tension to it as much as you need, so you can do it gradual...

well unfortunately guys i dont even know if this show was made in my size, and ive got a lead on half a size smaller than perfect fit.. so just seeing my options Smile

Most supes are made in full size runs (with the exception of a few limited editions, like the Atmos 80s) but I think the sizing/fitting is all over. Most newer supes are somewhat consistent in size, but if you're looking at an older pair my experience is that some of them fit quite small – just something to take into consideration, before buying too small.

If it's an older pair chances are they'll fit more like a full size small rather than just half a size. Something tells me you have a pretty good feeling about the size of the supes in question already though Wink

its a womens pair lol the Kendo's...

ive potentially found someone with a US10, however still waiting on pictures.

The biggest size released in england was a 9 i believe in these... so just hoping they arent fakes and they made some bigger sizes for rest of world...
