I can see the point on bad English as I said my post last night was poor dont know what happened watching tv whilst typing maybe im not sure, but I can't see the big deal with my lack of full stops as ez said the post is finished when there is no more text.

Look at your post above - the full stop after "text" isn't really needed as it's clear there's nothing more to read.

However you definitely need some before that to make your comments easy to read otherwise it ends up being a very long sentence with no breaks that doesn't help people understand what you're trying to say which means that they don't pay any attention to your comments I'm sure you want people to read what you type don't you?

Thanks MJF. That's exactly what I meant in a slightly ironic way. Writing without punctuation is something that you could compare to spoken text without intonation and tone. It's like those automated answering machines trying to sound like human and failing miserably.

Ok ok I officially apologise to anyone whom I have offended, confused or upset with my poor punctuation, I will try harder. I really didn't think it was that big of a deal but now I see how strongly some members feel about this. Once again I am sorry.

I think this got bigger than it was meant to be. Obviously there's no need for apologies, I guess some of us just wanted to point out that it might be annoying to read that kind of text and then some asked why we are so anal about it.
