I can't be arsed with football at all usually, I followed Chester City for two seasons many years ago, while they were groundsharing in Macclesfield, through rain and shine, and it's pretty much put me off for life.
However I always go silly for the World Cup Finals, love it, watch every game I can and dutifully fill in my wallchart.
It's a bloody great event, England's shitness notwithstanding, whether you're a "football fan" or not.

yeh the ball did hit his arm, right up near his shoulder... and that part of his arm was next to his body.
his forearm was sticking out, but if you saw the replay from the front where it hit him was so close to his chest it wasnt funny..
call couldve gone either way. And obviously he had to red him if he was going to pay it
