they're horrible!
I remember those horns as a kid, they were popular back in like the 80s and early 90s, but they quickly went out of fashion...

they sound like a swarm of pissed off bees attacking the crowd
wish there was a way the broadcasters could turn the field mics down or something to lower that drone

If your drunk enough, the horns don't bother you lol.

Even sober, I've gotten used to them somewhat. A minor pain for a month of glory

The vuvuzelas suck big time but I'm still gonna watch. Monday afternoon will be Holland's first match against Denmark. I have to work but a colleague is bringing a tv to work Laughing. I really need a pair of those Orange Adicilors. Has anybody got a size 10 for sale??

Anyone know which kit we are wearing today?

We're classed as the 'home' team so technically we should be in white

Is it worth muting the tv volume and putting the radio commentary on?

Less of a drone? Razz

Edit: just tried this, seems to be not as bad.

Downside is having to listen to David Pleat. (Sorry BM, bringing up those memories) Wink

The vuvuzelas don't bother me..no doubt Englands travelling army of fans and the band will drown em out anyways. It should be an easy game if england play to there potential and perform but this is england so a draw or edgy/nervous win
Looking forward to seeing what argentina do before that with tevez, messi and higuain upfront as there my tip for the worldcup along with david villa or tevez for the golden boot award

It's not the size of the feet!!it's the amount of quality on em

I like to mute it and put the radio on anytime football's on ITV (not a fan of their coverage) :p

The vuvuzelas soon became background noise for me, imagine being in the stadium with them! You'd have to join in or go insane I think.
