Poor Sod's football boots
#1

I thought I'd share one of my little adidas treasures with you. The first two pair I inherited from my big brother. He played rugby in them as a kid in the seventies and then I used them for football in the park back home. The third pair (size UK9,5) I found at a flea market in the early nineties for next to nothing in original box and wrench for the studs (box gone I'm afraid).

Thanks! It puzzles me why they don't make reissues. They would sell like crazy I think.

A proper blast from the past there PS, bringing back memories of my first pair of Adidas Beckenbauer. I hate all the new coloured plastic footy boots, lets hope retro hits the premiership one day.

The Santiago's are my faves.

pretty much the only classic re issue they do is the copa mundial boot... that sells like hotcakes here... best boots you can buy..and they are almost the same as when they came out, what, 40 odd years ago?

You can't beat some sambas and/or copa mundials for a kickabout. Cool

fc weather permitting
