So whos getting one of these, ive been holding off upgrading to the 3Gs in anticipation that apple being apple would release one with a signifcant change to the 3G looks awsome full HD screen front and rear camea with a flash out in a few weeks. Cant wait......

They still havnt come out with something so amazing
Theres a few phones penned that will be much much better than the iphone
its only the app market that keeps them popular but now with android improving and a few new os's coming out i reacon this wont be a big factor.
However people seem to just hear the name iphone now and get all giddy at the thought of owning one.

It sounds interesting. But for the most part I am happy with my Blackberry. I know some of my friends have been pissing themselves with excitement in the last few days, and a couple years ago I would have been too, but although it sounds interesting, I can't see myself going out of my way for one any time soon. iPhones are good, but not life changing.

Its the apps that do it for me along with the sleek minalmalistic design ive always been an apple fan from when they relaesed the ipods which were about 2inch thick so i guess im a bit of an apple fanboy, i have tried other phones such as the blackberry and the only thing that was better about the blackberry for me was the battery life, ive also got the palm pre but just didnt do it for me im afraid.
The iphone has certainly been life changing for me just with some of the apps which make life easier i no longer need to carry about tide charts moon phases maps etc thats all at my fingertips now, i no longer have a phone and an ipod more space in my pockets and less things to carry around.

I'm due an upgrade in just over a year, so will get one then. Happy slumming it with my 16 gig 3GS model for now.

I expect I'll get given one when one of the partners upgrades to the 5G. Until then I'll be with my slow as fuck 3G.
Still love the iphone, but I think I like my ipad better.

People will continue to get the iphone regardless of whether there are better androids out there
Ironically exactly the same situation happened with Macs and PCs - Macs are far better but Microsoft wrapped up the market so people continue to buy PCs

its the first iphone ive ever been tempted by... looks like they have finaly sorted out a decent camera for it incl a flash..could be my next phone, will wait and see, still happy with my one at the moment
