For me, even white fatties in normal light is too much in that particular shoe. It's a fairly low-key stealthy design, even the glow itself is pretty subtle. Regular fat laces can often detract attention away from the actual shoe as the laces become too prominent, too obvious. When they're bang-in-yer-face luminous and glow way brighter than the the actual shoe, the shoe loses it's unique feature and becomes 2nd fiddle to the lace.
