I went the custom, molded, in-ear route, Nik. Pricey, but kind of life changing. Plus, it silences all the assholes and noise on the train. Requires a visit to an audiologist to make the molds. If you are going to be using these at home, a D/A converter might be worth looking into as well. Try one sometime. Pretty amazing.

This is a fun place to shop:

did you get those JH audio things?!?! wow... look at that price. That could put some nice additions on my bike for that 1k lol
I did used to have yurbuds which i stuck on my iPod headphones and they fit inner ear FANTASTIC!!!! and made the apple headphones sound actually decent. However i went through 3 pairs of headphones at the gym, each time the right ear just going out completely just via use (faulty apple crap). Lost my Yurbuds in some Baltic country i think. Wouldn't mind getting some more with some decent standard in ear headphones.

But definitely looking for some big uns for home use. I like to work into the wee hours of the night which doesn't sit well with the house and music.

I have the Ultimate Ears. Jerry Harvey and Alex Van Halen started the company to make in-ear monitors for musicians. He ended up selling the company and then starting his own again.(JH) If you're using these mostly at home I'd go for an open back headphone, over-the ear design. It'll be the most comfy and have the best sound.

Check that link, tho. Their reviews are great.

A few people at work are getting them soon. My 4S is a company phone and isn't due for renewal for another 6 months or so, unless it has an accident...

Couple of my studio guys got iPhone 5s. I played with it a bit today and I'm not blown away. It might be too light (if you think your phone is too heavy, maybe try lifting a weight every now and again) and I don't really like that it's bigger.

Sure is fast, though.

Getting in Nov when i can renew, my boss had his delivered on the launch date, didn't have a play with it but looks wise i like it, and i actually like it being bigger/slimmer.

Sticking with my 4s for the time being.. Apart from the bigger screen I can't see why it's worth the extra bucks tbh Confused
