I was at a festival a little while back and saw a dude wearing a pair of white leather superstars with cherry red stripes and white shelltoe (so what I hear you say)....but the standout for me was they also had a cherry red band that went around the top of the sole just above the stiching line, which is something I havent seen before. Would these most likely be customs or a limited edition shoe, any info would be appreciated.

Maybe you mean the Superstar PT model, they have the different colour top bit of the midsole...like these for example:

They're a fairly new development, I havent seen the colourway you mention but I'm not a fan so I dont know much about them.....

How long ago did you see them? If it was last year or earlier then maybe they were customs.

I saw them in august of this year, so not that long ago. The band around the top was what caught my attention. They looked like these but in the colourway I mentioned above. Thanks for your response.
