Well, I can't say I'm a fan (or not a fan for that matter), since (warning: your head may explode) I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies, and have zero inclination to do so. I've seen the Family Guy Star Wars things and felt that was plenty of Star Wars for me. That said, I do know who Boba Fett and most of the rest of characters are, since the rest of the universe seems enamored with the series and as such I have heard enough about to last me many lifetimes.

Empire Strikes Back is my favourite ever film, I think it was the first film I ever watched (at the cinema too) a dark film for a six year old to watch, left a lasting impression on me.
