Good call Pokey, I've said exactly those things you hve mentioned.

Oone way to make adidas to sit up and notice is to get your MP involved, might work, might not.

Get him/her to write a letter to that brand protection manager. It seems to me adidas define "Brand Protection" where someone or a company is making a shed load of cash that could be made by adidas themselves, so some guy on ebay selling a few fakes isn't going to bankrupt them, hence why they don't really give a flying one.

Charity is a good choice, as long as they don't end up on eBay again. Or you can pee in them and put them in the mailbox of a person you hate. Laughing Or you can just physically destroy them/get them destroyed.
