Finally introducing myself
#1

Hi, as you all can see I'm a member here for more than a year now. In the last year I regularly visited the forum to read about new releases, how to spot fakes and I drooled like a baby by seeing all the great collections of you guys. Because I'm active on many different forums I decided not to post but just read here, a day only has 24 hours and I also needed to find some time to work, drink, eat, sleep, watch football and more stuff like that Razz . Now my posting activities on some other forums are at a low and I'm reading and watching here almost every day the time has come to start posting here on the SSDB. To make a good impression I start of by introducing myself to my fellow Supes lovers off course angel4 .

So here we go: I'm Marco, 27 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I work with mentally challenged people for a living.
My Supes passion started about two years ago, off course I knew them a lot longer but never had a pair. I always thought they looked great with their rubber shells, but always ended up with another pair of sneakers promising myself that my next purchase would be a pair of Superstars. When I finally bought my first pair of Supes a love story was born, and the second pair followed soon Laughing .
Although I rock Superstars for about two years now, I'm really collecting them for about a year now. My first pairs went thru rain, snow, mud and ended beaten up pretty much, now I have a couple pairs of beaters which I wear to work and thru the rain, snow and mud and I have my babies which I only wear when I'm certain that they're staying dry and clean.
I have about 15 pairs of Supes and I'll post up some pics in the next couple of days Smile.

Hey Marco, Welcome to SSDB. Having experience with mentally challenged people will come in handy around this place too. Wink

Whereabouts in The Netherlands are you at? I lived in Lelystad for a while some years ago, a lot of happy memories of my time there(although that town itself is terrible!)

Groet vriendelijke!
