I like the subtlety of the pride stan smiths. I'm with shellshock on not liking the abrupt way the splatter stops on the superstar.

adidas should've put Ben's Stone Roses 80s into production if they wanted to release a decent 'paint splatter' style shoe.

To be fair the original artwork on the LP was perfect.. gotta say the edifice leather on those uppers was hit and miss. Just painted the Campus ones and the stripes are different on each shoe, in terms of quality. I like the Nigo supes for a quality surface to work on.
I'm not sure about the Pride stuff - certainly I think your Gay man would prefer a thong over an adilette.. that's what you call flip flops in Oz aint it?

Yep, thongs is it what they call em. Weirdos. Apparently, the Kiwis call them Jandals!!?!?. To conclude this part of the story: I've been out here for 11 years now and i have never owned or worn a pair of thongs/fljp flops/jandals/whatever. Fuck that! They can keep em.

Yup! Benji's Stone Roses supes were banging! Showed them to my non sneaker mates (the stone roses fans) and all agreed. Whoever owns them is a lucky man!
