I tried that the other day when I 'accidentally' stumbled across a cheap pair of the Run DMC Ultrastar 80s. Got home and was all 'Look what you've bought me for Christmas' to Lady Shellshock. Needless to say it didn't work very well. Still, the odd night sleeping on the sofa with the dog for company isn't so bad.

They were lovely but for £172 they can fucking do one!
No way getting shit made in Europe equates to a price tag like that.

 A bit cheaper in the states aren't they? If it was a pair of Jeffrey Wests or something similar that would be ok i guess. But just before christmas is a bitter pill. Still white and black is spot on for me.

Made by Heschung should be "okay" . Quality wise superior to Jeffrey West. I mean Heschung makes  shoes which cost 300€++.

Anyone know how many of these 'made in France' pairs will be released? Is it a super-limited release like the 35th Consortiums? There's not much debate regarding the quality of the workmanship, it will be superb, no doubt. But will the materials/build quality be £50-60 comparatively better than a standard 'premium' Supe? I think not.

I still don`t know if i will buy them. 220 Euros is crazy, but on the other hand, i don`t think they will lose their value. And when i regret it later, i can sell them for the same price, if they are "limited" enough.
