Its the mesh and the colouring under the toe and heel that ruins them for me, all leather (or whatever material it is) and all white sole would have been a winner.

Disco-dirt is the name for the black sticky sneaker-wrecking sludge only ever found on sweaty dancefloors. Unfortunately I can't claim it as one of mine, I read it on here somewhere but cant remember the thread in order to credit the author of such a great phrase!

That's a staple in my vocabulary now. I read it when I very first came on here. I think its in the how to keep kicks fresh thread.
