Soon come Superstars.

All perfectly adequate. Hope they make it to Canada so I can decide once they're on the 50% rack

The blue ones and brown ones were among the 2010 samples I saw on the bay and posted in this thread some weeks ago so it seems the year isn't starting too bad.

Those white/green 80s still look nice, but I'm not too keen on the rest of them. The brown ones look good too, but I'm not a fan of SS2s, so I'll pass on them just the same...

Superstars are indeed super...

I'd be very surprised if that site was selling fakes. I'd be interested in knowing how things turn out though if you order a pair, especially regarding customs fees since you're from Denmark too Wink

Well at least Scene Preston has the Eldrigdes available for the European posse sizes UK7-12, no half sizes tho, for ~£70 (~$113) with shipping included outside UK. Have no idea how much the shipping costs are from skatewarehouse so when you find out, do some comparative calculations and perhaps add also the possible customs duties you might need to pay to the total sum if you're ordering from the US.

Do the Eldridges have a different fit because they are skates? I've never had a pair. They look like 80's to me.

These kicks need their own theme music. walk

They look like 80's cos theyr'e based on the 80's model, they wont fit the same a past skates and will probably have a different fit to the standard 80's, though not sure how different.

I don't get it, why are they called skates anyway as apart from the new tongue, they look just like 80's and don't seem to have any of the skate details that actually differentiated the earlier skates from non-skate models.
I'm personally not that interested in them. I would if they actually were like skates.

Yeah, a cut price pair of 80's and a Sharpie. Hey Presto! A pair of Eldridges.

Would you be good enough to participate in this morning's edification?

According to the official site they have all the things the MK1 & 2 skates had in (apart from heel absorber thingy) but they're still far too 80's for me.

Hope this isn't a sign of things to come with the SS Skates. Sad

fc loves a skate

They just don't look "fat" enough to have all the padding skates usually have. I love skates but I'm with fc, hopefully this isn't where adidas is going with skates from now on.

It's not even the padding as it is the durability of the skates of the past. No reinforced stitching, no recessed laces, they look like you might as well rock any old pair of kicks.
