I have to say that there is something really nice in them but still that blue plaque confuses me.

It's a cool idea but for me it ruins an otherwise nice shoe, I would have just kept it to the lace jewel or insole/tongue etc, somewhere less prominent. Good luck with them.

I still like the colourway but can't get over the blue plaques so they're a no go for me.

Gotta say, I quite like them now I've seen full pictures of the whole thing. I don't think I could justify full price unless I saw them in the flesh but I'll definitely try and snap some up when they go on sale. Blue plaque on the heel is a great idea and I know it's your "thing" but it just doesn't quite seem to work.
