First of all i'd like to briefly explain this thread..
Basically i've just launched a new website selling sneakers / trainers and part of my plan was to proove all the stock is 100% genuine.
I have been on this website before as i'm a collector myself and i have seen the 'Approved Seller' banner on a few websites.
An obvious thing for me to do was to try get permission to use the banner so i emailed Olly explaining my situation. His reply was simply 'Add a link to your website and the sneaker-heads on there will confirm if they're genuine - assuming you get some sales'.
So last week i properly checked out the site (which is an impressive community) and introduced myself.
Now i've launched the website with the first batch of stock (much more coming soon), so here's the link: it's gone now
I'm just adding the normal banner (not the approved seller one yet) to my homepage in exchange so hopefully everything's sweet.No it aint!
Any feedback on the website would be appreciated!it's shite

This forum is far too serious. It's unbeleivable!
The stock on my site is literally the 1st batch and there's loads more to come.
If it doesn't appeal to you lot it really isn't an issue. I just thought a forum was a place for networking and as i sell Adidas Superstars and this is an Adidas Superstar forum, it doesn't take a business genius to work it out. It was a really obvious thing to do.
I'm not claiming to have the rarest pairs in stock yet, i just have a selection of Adidas Superstars.
And, just to make it clear, Olly the owner of the website advised me to do this. I actually asked him for advice and this is what he said.
Maybe he wants the community to continue growing and doesn't just want the same members. It'd be a shame for you lot to put everyone new off. This is a public forum!
There no rats to smell i'm afraid. This is a genuine new business startup and one of the reasons i'm here is to proove that.
