Have you tried the straight across style with fatter laces? It's definitely an acceptable method with fats!

super nice sup's, yeah not the biggest fan of fat laces....but i do think that the mirror cross look in the fat's are nice.....i could potentially go for that look in time!!

Well, as we're nit-picking about lacing, Lurky, your mirrored overlaps look inverted to me mate! Overlap should point to the outside of the shoe shouldn't it, not the inside. oh dear! 
As for you semafor, you prefer straight lacing and your not a big fan of fat laces. You sure you're a supes fan!?!?!

Ha, I didn't know that, I just lace the first one willy nilly and then mirror it.

Nope, it's not bothering me at all. But people can change. I didn't like fat laces when I joined SSDB but I think I have about 10 pairs now with fats in them.
@Lurky: those look so nice. I got the grey laces ready but the damn shoes are still in London with my sister in law
