.... was on vacation last week up in the USA state of Oregon, the Great Northwest

to Cackman who lives in the Portland area here in the USA. Portland is home to adidas North America Headquarters. Cack hooked me up with a pass to shop at the employee store. 50% off everything!!! i ended up spending over US$300 which included myself, my wife, my daughter. not much for Supe offerings. that place was big and full of stuff. i had to hold back pretty hard with the tees and World Cup attire/apparel. i can see why Cack picked up those Battle Pack Messi's. they really are a nice quality Supe, really really nice....and the box was cool also, it opened differently than a normal box. i just couldn't see myself wearing that flashy style of a shoe. but, i got these three......
matches the color of the high school in which i coach football (soccer)
i've already worn them a few times, so they're a little dusty
my favorite model of Samba, the Samba Millenium; i've never had white, so given 'em a go at 50% off
i JUST HAD to take this picture; i was wearing XXVII on that day (white/red/black); kind of cool... the flat steel plate on the ground acting as the base to hold up the turntable has the words of "My adidas" embossed on it (no pic, sorry)
the wall of Supes that were there. as you can see, not much. white/black, white/white, black/white, black/black, Messi's, a gash red/white/blue/perf model (yuck), and that was it
...and, they have their own under10aged sized playing field at the facility
thanks again Cackman for the hook up on the pass
a side note.... all of the countries sponsored by adidas for the World Cup, if they were eliminated, their "stuff" was 50% off, if the country was still participating, no discount, and just non-country specific stuff like World Cup tees were still regular price until the WC ends.
