When you're 15 you take what you can get, and as I was brought up in a small Borders town it was either smirnoff or sheep dip to drink. Doesn't matter what the brand is, the smell gies me the boke. My mate likes her fancy vodkas too, some Bison stuff and Grey Goose, poured her a drink and it made me ill.

Besides good beer, I have been into vodka and gin(+tonic) for years but never that much into other serious booze like scotch or bourbon nor cognac. I'm pretty picky about the brands of vodka and gin I drink tho. For vodkas, Finlandia is one I hate with a passion and can't stand at all and the same for Beefeater in gins.
I rarely get a hangover and don't ever remember (when I remember something
) getting a serious hangover from quality vodka either.
Doing nothing is very hard to do... you never know when you're finished.

Yeah if I stick to single malt on a night out, preferably the same one, I won't be rough the next again day. Still reek of whisky, but at least I feel fine.

That reminds me of one unforgettable Saturday night or Sunday morning rather, nearly 10 years ago when a local club got closed down.. I had been a resident DJ there for years and was invited for the "staff and a few VIPs only" special afterparty.
That was amazing; self service behind the counter, drink and eat anything you want, as much as you want and absolutely free. I'm not really sure how much and especially what did I drink during the course of the party but the next afternoon when I was trying to wake up, I had by far the worst hangover I've ever had and haven't got one quite like it since. Was still feeling a bit wobbly the next couple of days in school.. not really fun trying to concentrate on something when your head is exploding.
Doing nothing is very hard to do... you never know when you're finished.

My better half threw me a suprise party for my big 40 yesterday.
Nuff heads past and present showed up so i was well chuffed.
She got me some DMC's.
