Twas a good day.
Two weeks later I got a bill from DHL for $82.
Twas not such a good day.

$82 for 8 pairs isn't the worst I could I imagine depending on how much each pair cost. I would probably get to pay nearly 120€ (~$170) of VAT and duties if they were ~$50-60/pair.

Part of the service I was paying for was that they'd mark them at whatever price I asked.
Didn't want to risk too much so I asked them to mark the box at a third of it's actual value.
I think it was marked as being worth £115.
Ahh so that explains it. It still is pretty unfunny to pay that much extra just to get your supes. Damn government conspiracies!
