damn...not a bad price I don't think. Notice how the receipt says that he bought them for $400 on 1/28/2005

Nice pickup there Cool

For future reference, if the seller has the original receipt from Harputs, they are legit thumbleft

Thanks for the help guys.

Have to admit to being completely gutted though. I've been watching them for days and now that you've varyfied them for me they've been snapped up. Gutted there the 2 pairs i want most in the world.[/u]

My wife bought me a pair of DMC's a few years back, she paid a hefty price and they turned out to be fakes. Didn't want it to happen again so i just got a bit too cautious on this one. I'm going to mope in a corner somewhereSad

I've learned that you have to pull the trigger pretty quick if you see something you want, otherwise someone else will.

If you need anything checked out in the future your best off to PM someone. All the members on here are on their game, but posting links up just gives an easy find to the non members and the lurkers who don't put the effort in.

Thanks 4 the heads up Jims.
I think i did put someone on to a good deal there at my own expense. Didn't even see the pm option y'know being new to the site, and wouldn't have known who to pm anyways. I was worried about posting the links but i just had to know for definite, couldn't afford to get stung again.
Still looking for DMC's around size 9. Anyone help????

Nice 1 Streak.
As i said in my intro, it was Run DMC who got me into Superstars in the first place so it would be cool to find a pair. How worn r they and what would you be asking for them?

nice 1 Yeshe
I'm still vexed at myself for not trusting my judgement and going for them. Anyway, we live and learn. Just means the fun of the hunt is back on, and when i do finally land them it will indeed be a sweet victory.

Doesn't much matter now, they're gone. If they are real, which is very possible, the buyer got a steal.
