Not to be rude, but if you like em and think £140 is worth it, then shell out £140 for em. Personally, rarity and how much other people like a pair doesn't make much of a difference when I'm buying a new pair of supes - it's how much they are worth to me that matters.

I thought I put something about knowing if you were gonna get ripped off or not - seems it's not just my feet that've stopped working (had to go shovel coal in my dressing gown and g6s)

If something is slightly overpriced but you like em, there's nothing wrong with snapping them up (especially if they are hard to come by). If you don't like something, don't buy it just cos it's cheap.
