Hmmm, let me see, we still harping on this re: the age of the article? I never said I didn't know it was old (obviously I do, given the release date of the 35ths)...I just wanted to point out a good read for those who never read it, irregardless of time...

Does anyone know WHY they celebrated the 35th anniversary?

I mean, in regards birthdays, you have 18, 21, 25, 30, 40 etc...

No one really makes that much of a big deal about their 35th birthday..

So why did they for superstars?

It has to have some relevance somewhere?

Am i being thick? Laughing

I need more lemon pledge...  Very Happy

They just did it cos trainer hype was at a peak and they decided to exploit it.
Pretty unlikely they'll bother doing it again as the whole trainer collecting thing is much more mainstream these days and Gary Bastard won't bother to queue up for limited releases nor pay top dollar for them.
The days of the hardcore collector are pretty much over.
We'll still be about by we'll soon be outnumbered by noobs with no stomach for limited shit but a wardrobe full of GR's.
