I got mine from Footlocker directly, and the box lable didn't look anything like that. It looked like a normal adidas box label, with the little fella looking a bit fat as usual and no price pre-printed on it. Very odd.

Technically, if you are under the fear of immediate violence then that constitutes assault and it can be something as minor as shaking a fist or words (or sending an email saying that you'll "be coming round! Trust me!")
edit: Just re-read his email and him saying that "this isn't a threat" nullifys any fear in the eyes of the law. Still, contact the police anyways.
