I agree. I use Avast on my laptop at home. Nice, free and simple. Actually works as well. Not had any problems since using it.

i'm using avira antivir - it's free and fast. i really recommend it.

Ive gone for AVG cos i've heard of it before, but thanks everyone. Il see how i get on with AVG and il bear all the other recomendations in mind!

Memo to folks using Symbian phones with net access, get Kaspersky AV software for it, there are shitloads of viruses out there bricking your nice shiny pieces of kit! Mate bricked his at work with a virus.
Ive got the Kaspersky, 16 quid for the year!

^ i don't know where was he getting his 'stuff' for his symbian phone..
i was for over 2 years in symbian 'scene' and i never ever had a virus. just don't accept random files via bluetooth from unkown sender...
what's your favourite application , santh?
