Here a quote from the seller after I complained about the terrible state they are in:

In my considerable experience with trainers, as soon as you've worn them once, they don't look new anymore, simple. These are a used item, hence there will be some general wear, otherwise they are in 'mint' condition. If you expected new trainers you should have got your money out and bought some from a shop, only to get these it would have cost you a flight to tokyo as well. You won't be getting a refund.
