Things that make your blood boil

Not really a blood boiler but there isn't a "things that make me a bit sad" thread.

Sk8 very kindly helped me out contacting the seller of the footpatrols I posted the other week as they were on German ebay, when asked for pictures of the soles the seller didn't reply. Anyway no one bid on them so I contacted them and they're being a bit more helpful but just got the pics of the soles and the they drag their feet, totally worn out at the back yet hardly worn anywhere elseSad a few wears and they'd be no good

What a bummer, maybe really good at cleaning trainers, can you post the pic for me Smile

With God's help I'll conquer this terrible affliction.

You wouldn't buy FPs because the soles look like that?!

If the uppers are fine I'd still be on them in a heartbeat.

They're top 3 of all time and you could clean those soles up pretty quick.

Gotta agree with lorrie here carly...depending on price i'd still be grabbing them if the upper is in good condition.

It's not the size of the feet!!it's the amount of quality on em

If I had the money it wouldn't be a problem but i brought a house just before christmas and basically it had to be totally gutted, heating, electrics, kitchen, door frames and floors has had to go and seeing as I'm a self funded PhD student with no time for a job I'm reliant on my other half who is also a PhD student and his funding ran out a few months ago, so basically it comes down to wether I can justify spending £150 on a pair of what my boyfriend will see as just a worn out pair of trainers Sad

£150.............Nah i wouldn't either for that price..The sellers got no chance at that price and condition!!!well possibly if they were a uk9,10

Oh, bad luck. I would say they're still worth it, but obviously stuff like food and heat is important as well. Though the weather is improving and you could probably trap some small animals for food.

Pokey, you wouldn't pay £150 for them because the soles are a bit messed?

Afraid not lorrie considering carly's a uk6 thats half a shoe really innit Very Happy
I get what ya saying about the soles been easily cleanable but they look like they've had alot of wear out of them i wouldn't even be tempted at that price

If there worth £150 in that condition then that makes my unworn pair worth about £500 right Laughing

Maybe it's me but if that puts you off, you're crazy. If the upper is OK, fuck it, buy them. Who's gonna see the soles?
So now you've got 3 votes for buying them, now go get them!

EDIT: didn't see there were more replies and the price is GBP 150. Mmmmm, that seems like a lot of money for a worn down pair of trainers
