Things that make your blood boil

I never had any problems with my spectrum +2 128K, and it played games I tape to taped.

Actually it was always crashing on the 10 mins load up Laughing.

With God's help I'll conquer this terrible affliction.

My C64's cassette deck always worked, in between the moments it didn't work.

I never had any Spectrums, was always more into Atari and Commodore.

Haha my C64 tapes took quite a beating over the years when i was using them in the 80s and early 90s, yet they still worked every time.. except for those few times the numerous decks i had, failed to work. I bet they'd still work today. Maybe I should dig up the retro gaming gear to test them out, they're stored somewhere in my dad's attic.

Talking about builds, nowadays your game stuff can be f'in toast if you accidentally drop them once on the floor from half a meter. Same goes for practically everything in modern household. Everything gets made so weak you're constantly buying replacements if you're as clumsy a tool as i am.
