In Holland we do carnival. Party for a few days in costumes and drinking lots of beer. I`m a member of a Carnival Union (with some 400+ members). Every year there is a show for the members and by the members. Sort of playback show/cabaret, everybody has to do something. With my big mouth i said i will do Beyonce`s song all the single ladies. My friends arranged me a gym costume so i`m gonna look like this guy on stage in front of 400 people..

I like it, but hey I live in the Maastricht region, the only region in the Netherlands that properly knows how to celebrate it . Not like the André van Duin, Deurzakkers and "apres ski" shit that the rest of the country calls carnaval. Shame that I can't celebrate it as much as in the good old days because of my job.

Carnival in Twente is good to. Never been under the rivers with carnival, but where i live, we know how to party to haha.

I lived in Lelystad for a while. Carnaval was pretty weak in Lelystad.
