You're right Lorrie. Every car is a moneypit in the end.
Where I live life would be tricky without one, as public transport is truly shite, but in a bit city like London (or Toronto?) I guess it's not necessary.
Im taking the piss about the fiats by the way . . . but I do have my own deeply masochistic brand loyalty.

Maybe, either that or you never knew it cos you mostly did the same routes all the time you were down here.
