well, as some of you know, i'm looking for the Pommier Superstar Vulcan. i live in Taiwan now and they are not available in store at this time. but i found the Taiwan 2008 catalog online, here: http://www.adifans.net/2007/mag/Catalog/08SSOG/21.jpg

it's on the bottom right of that image, showing that it'll be in released in April. but does anyone notice that it doesn't have the red line near the bottom of the sneakers? is it just a picture thing or it's really 2 different design? personally i dig that red line and want them and getting them online at a US site will cost pretty much the same as getting them in store.

or has adidas ever done this before? extremely minor changes for certain area market?

Could be a pic of a sample or something. Either way, if it's from a reputable online dealer that has a refund policy buy them and if they don't come with red line then tyou can send em back.

Never heard of Adidas making changes based on a specific market, certainly not something as minor as red line (I know they withdrew some Y1s but that's all I've heard about afterthoughts)

yeah, i wouldn't worry. they aren't going to sub a red line in and out for different markets. unless the red line is somehow offensive to the taiwanese people.
