35th Anniversary HQ Poster
#1

First: Since this is my first post, I'd like to say hello to everybody Wink My name is Alex and I'm from Montreal, Canada. I've been reading for a while but never really took the time to create an account name and post until now.

Now, to the important stuff: I've seen a poster around with all the models released for the 35th anniversary and I was wondering if anyone had come across a high quality png/pdf version of it somewhere?

Thanks Smile

Hi Alexstre. Nice to see another Canadian on the SSDB.

Why don't you pop over to the visitor book and introduce yourself. Your collection, age, what you do, music etc.

And if you're in the Plateau, can you swing by the Tap Room on Rachel and have a pint for me?

I'm mostly looking for a soft copy for now but I'm definitely interested in a printed version if the shipping cost isn't crazy. Let me know!

Thanks!

Hmmm...adidas piracey. Not sure thats all that welcome around these parts Laughing
As for postage, I doubt it would cost more than a couple of quid to send a poster to canada. It's folded to about A5 size, so all it would take is a small envelope with some card it in.
I'll have a look when I get home and see if I still have a spare.
And as zwer said, make yourself known in the visitors book, and give us some pics of your collection.
Very Happy

Oopsie, piracy? I wasn't aware it could've been seen that way as all I was going to do with a soft copy of the poster was to use it as a wallpaper on my laptop Surprised

Oh well, keep me up-to-date with the "real" version! and I'll post pictures of my collection (well the ones I have here anyways) as soon as I find my camera's usb cable.. Mad

I'm sure that if you only want it for your laptop we'll let it slide Laughing

It's the promo poster for the 35th anniversary collection. One side has all the different models and the other side has mostly close ups and background history.

I just think the side with all the 35 pairs would be a good wallpaper Smile

I got this last week for an unbelieveably silly price.

I have a few questions though:

Andy Mac has answered the first, is that the very same Paytwo on the poster that posts on here?

I read in 'Pitch Invasion' that is was a guy called Chris Servern who "invented" the shelltoe (as the shoe we see today) but he doesn't get a mention. Anyone know why this is?

Also, anyone got a pair of Superstar Ripple? I like. Razz
