Can the guys here who have there supes on shelves without boxes recommend it as a way to go? I'm decorating the bedroom at the moment but i'm worried about dust etc

I would be intrested to hear thoughts by those that have gone this route.

what the other said - looks good! Smile

whack lacing is killing your shoes!

I would suggest not to keep them in direct sunlight. That will probably fade the colors and probably cause some other damage as well over the time.

Jim : was that storage lay out purchased or made by yourself?

Made them myself Tony, couldn't really find anything the right size to fit the boxes, fit the space, and not cost a fortune.

Borrowed a mates router and picked up a couple of sheets of 25mm MDF from B+Q (they will cut them into strips) and some 20mm molding for under the shelves and screwing to the wall. Weekends work and a few coats of paint, came to around £80 total Smile
