It took me ages to work out how to get photos on here I put mine on flickr first to re size them
Three stripes is the only way unless its a red one

The easy was to insert a picture is to upload it to a picture hosting site (like imageshack as Sin said), re-sizing to 640 x 480, then copy the link they provide and paste it into a message (in between [img] [/img])..
