Both shoe's tongues turn left? That is weird.
My knowledge of medieval superstition leads me to believe that they have indeed gone down the devil's path. In medieval times they would be burnt at the stake. I believe that the modern solution to the problem of turning to the dark side would be to buy a pair of Yodas.

Do you lace through those tag things on the tongue?

hey, I'm left handed!

the tongues on my gazelles, right shoe only, would slide down to the right, no matter how often i adjusted or how tight i tied them.

maybe that's why i don't wear gazelles anymore.

Don't worry zwer, i was talking in a historical context, I'm not going to burn you at the stake...

lol. tongue in left shoe turns left after few steps (!) and vice versa in right shoe.
i don't lace thru that tag on the tongue. in some old superstars i don't have this problem, just in the new ones.

Ah. I get ya. I think when the padding in ss2s starts to go down it stops doing that. One of my vintages does that too as the leather tongue is so long and hard (pokey I know you are tempted to make a pun here!)

I'm sure that lacing through the tongue would help, but I'm not gonna do it!

Biggest foot problem is the lace tops getting on the side or under your feet when you walking! Especially on the 35ths and the adicolors. My Cey Adams aint the comfortablist things at the best of times!!!

That's offside!

I find it interesting that people are having problems with this - I used to have it all the time with gazelles, but never with soups. maybe the design of the superstar matches the design of my foot?

or maybe some people need to switch to clogs?
