only prob with the chequerboards way of doing it, is u have lots of spare lace in the shoe and it can be uncomfortable

I normally go with the normal cris-crossed lacing for superstars, but for my other adidas like the samba, gazelle, or campus I go with single lacing. And in the states at most adidas factory outlets you can buy adidas brand laces in normal or fat styles in tons of colors for $2.99 USD!

nah, people can lace shit up however they want.. its all about doing what YOU want, not what other people say looks good!

i got it in the neck from pure and co when i first started the SSDB, as i prefered the striaght across tecnique rather than the side to side "traditional" look

The laces are the most important part.

I'm tempted to give you both a warning...

surely not the most, but very important part. bad lacing can destroy nice look of shoe.
