not really. some fakes can be very good.

which begs the question: if you can't tell the difference btwn a real and a fake, is it really a fake?

by 'worst' i hope that super sk8 meant funny fake, like neigbhorhood (wich is ss vintage) made in ss2 shape, or a leather version of footpatrols, or gold (!) adicolor kermits.

i've seen some adicolor track tops with "bl6" inside tag and "mannatan" on the back.

Lace holes and tongue mainly. If you have a pair of each side by side you can easily spot the difference.
