Who else is from Australia or any were really and listens to aussie hip hop? Just seeing how many are on this forum or people form outside australia actually listen to it.

You've got to be joking me! Your from the UK if you listen 2 its hip hop you should know skinnyman,mystro,braintax.... All of which have done tracks with australian artists.

Well if you keen on hearing some I recommend these artists Delta Vents1,Hilltop hoods, The Funkoars and Pegz for starters.

Yeah i'm from WA and I listen to hip hop from anywhere really, mostly US artists but I always
listen to 101.7 over here which plays mostly hip hop and plenty of aussie acts.
I saw Delta win the MC Battle 4 Supremacy AUS vs NZ on dvd a few years back and saw the heats live in Perth where Knowledge won.
The Hoods have really blown up over here and Delta's The Lostralian seems to be doing well too.

I keep my signed vinyl copies of Lostralian and Mr trials for the ladies nicely tucked away I'm sure they'll be worth summit one day especially if australian stuff starts to go off in the US. I'm sure if you haven't heard much of him already you will with his new album VENTS1 is just plain dope with lyrics of a new style for australian artists.

I got some Aussie tracks - I find it a bit hit and miss, I like the tracks Pegasus did with Task Force. The best MC I heard was someone Skitz was championing......think his name was Brad?

Havent heard anything for a while tho.
