Haven't been into hip-hop much in the past but decided to get a few albums on recomendations. All mid 90s stuff.
Doggystyle, The Coming, Ready to Die, Reasonable Doubt, Illmatic all on rotation atm, will add a few more to the ipod later. Can't believe I've never even thought of getting them before - it's like an epiphany.

Yeah I agree Steve, track 13 is worth a listen, but the rest of the album is a bit weak. Not the good ol' Bust-a-bus, shame really

Reid, I'd have to say the 90s would be my favourite hiphop era, with an extremely close 2nd being the 80s pioneer era

Inspired by Reid, I've dug out Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt.
Shame he's become so boring and lazy these days. But then I guess if you have his kind of loot its easy to become complacent and not really try anymore... Isn't he reported to be worth something to the tune of $610 mil?
