I was wondering, how much space do you leave for your feet when you buy superstars? Is there room for you to take you feet forwards in the shoe and put a finger between your heel and the inside back of the shoe? Do you wear thick or thin socks?

Personally I like to wear thick socks, it gives an extra cushioning feel imo.

Other preferences/ideas on this matter of "fitting"?

well mars, if the shoe fits.........

i usually give a bit of room, enough coz i wear mine undone and dont like the sloppy foot approach, wears the soles out too!

just enough to keep them on the foot whilst walking bout!

saying that, have been known to rock a tighter pair when the need is TOO great! a rare pair with no choice!

I just buy whats comfortable - usually anything from a 6UK to an 8UK

The "problem" for me is that actually I think there's too much difference from a 10 uk to a 10.5. 10 is tight with thin socks and 10.5 is okay with thick socks.

I'm echnically a pretty wide 9 UK, but in ay orm of SS i'm at least a 10.

I'm mostly in between too, usually get 10.5's, which feel snug on purchase and loosen up a little as I wear em in

If I push my foot as much forward as I can in my SS I can just about squeeze in a finger around the heel (well at least with the pair I'm wearing right now...LOL...). If a size 10 feels tight even with thin socks you should probably go for a 10.5.

Personally I'd rather have my SS a little loose instead of too tight, but I guess it's all a matter of taste.

I either buy 11, 11.5's or 12's..

i have SS in both sizes.

i have some 11.5's that feel like 12's, and some 11's that feel like 11.5's...

and i wear adidas crew socks, or adidas trainer socks.. fairly thick..

i dont own any other sox

I normally have a 12 but can get in an 11.5 .
It is a nightmare though if you buy non sups ! I have from a size 11 (Bora) to a size 13 (Marathon) ! Oh and Puma always seem to fit in 11 ! NB 11.5 !

I can only wear a 7 in Adidas, the jump from 7 to a 7.5 is fookin massive and 6 squishes my feets
