He probably did, didn't he? Otherwise I don't see how the shell could be "in level" with the rest of the shoe.

Those Miami things are horrible.
I'd forgotten how good the CT's looked with a shell on them though, well nice!

The Miami's with a full shell look great, I'd buy them - and put in some orange laces from the 35th New Yorks...
the CT's look ok with a shell, but they would probably have looked even better with a shell from a pair of vintage SS.
Superstars are indeed super...
